About The Club
Soul Fly Club, LLC is a sober Philadelphia-based studio, showroom, and community-center rooted in Black + queer diasporic art, artistic methodology, and grassroots organizing, with programming that extends beyond the city through travel and collaboration. Soul Fly Club is dedicated to creating intentional space for artists—emerging, returning, and established—to explore their practice, share work, and build meaningful relationships through collective engagement.
At its core, Soul Fly Club operates through visual programming and artist-led methodologies that center process, experimentation, and shared knowledge. Workshops, intimate gatherings, exhibitions, and collaborative sessions are designed not only as events, but as sites of learning, exchange, and creative development. These offerings are grounded in Black diasporic praxis—honoring lineage, memory, and the evolving nature of artistic expression.
Soul Fly Club is also shaped by a grassroots organizing approach, prioritizing accessibility, community input, and mutual support. The space functions as both a platform and a resource, offering artists opportunities to lead programming, present work, and bring their own ideas to life. Through collaboration, resource-sharing, and collective care, the Club works to sustain a creative ecosystem that is responsive to the needs of its community.
By bridging artistic practice with community-centered organizing, Soul Fly Club creates an environment where art is not only produced, but lived, shared, and carried forward—rooted in Philadelphia, yet in motion wherever the work calls.
